Kurian Iype (Kunjappan, 8)

Iype, who was the son of Iype Kurian, was born in 1898. After college education, he was engaged in agricultural matters. His life was a great struggle against adversities. Although he was not in a condition to help others financially, he had a willingness to give his mind & soul to their needs. That was why he was popular among ordinary people and among his relatives. Although the properties he got from his father were limited, he did not alienate any of them. With his own hard work, he performed the family duties by enduring many hardships. These characteristics of his are quite exemplary. His wife was Aleyamma who was the daughter of Thiruvalla Mepral Poothiyottu Ummachen. They had sons named Kurian, Oommen, Mathai and Iype & daughters named Ammal and Ammini. He lived with his mother in the family. He died in 1966 at the age of 68. Aleyamma died on 10^th June 1951. They were cremated at Puthuppally Horeb Marthoma church.
