Dr.M.I.Iype (Pappachen, 9)

Iype, the fourth son of Kurian Iype, was born on the 8^th May 1938. After obtaining a B.A.(Honours) & M.A. graduation from the University of Madras, he joined Linkraj College in Belgaum, Karnataka as a teacher. He retired as Principal of that college. While working as a college professor, he was an N.C.C. officer and attained the rank of Major. In recognition of his comprehensive contributions to N.C.C. for quarter of a century, he received the honorary life time Major rank from the President of India in 1988. He attained an M.D. in Alternative Medicine and is specialized in Hypnotherapy and provides free treatment to mental patients. He married Thalassery Aythaan Mattankot family member Radha. Radha was a professor in R.L. Institute, Belgaum. They have a daughter named Kavita. After obtaining, B.E.(Engg) & LL.B graduation, Kavitha is an advocate in the Belgaum bar. They are permanent residents of Belgaum, Karnataka. Iype passed away on 20^th July 2012 at the age of 74 and was cremated there.
