Chandy’s elder daughter Ramani has obtained B.Sc.& B.Ed. degrees. Ramani, who started her career as teacher in a govt. school, retired as the Principal of Peruva Higher Secondary school. Koothattukulam Pallivathukkal Thomas married her. Thomas was an Assistant Executive Engineer in the Kerala State Electricity Board. They live in Peruva and have a son named Liju and a daughter named Linu.
