Dr.P.K.John (Pappachen, 8)

The eldest son of Kawmos, John after completing his college education obtained M.B.B.S. degree from Thiruvananthapuram Medical college. He served in the same medical college for some period. Later, he went to U.S.A. for further studies and obtained an M.D. & also F.R.A.C.P. fellowship from Canada. He practiced in psychiatry and settled in Toronto, Canada. He adopted Ham radio as a hobby and became a world-known radio ham. His wife was Adoor Karimbannur Dr. Elizabeth (Jolly). Jolly was also working as a doctor in Canada. They have sons, Suresh and Sunil. Dr. John passed away on 17^th September 2006 at the age of 68 in Toronto. He was cremated there. His wife, Dr. Elizabeth and children are now living in Canada.
