K.T.Varghese (Kunjappi, 7)

K.T. Varghese, who is the son of Varghese Thomas, after school and college education worked as a senior guard in the Southern Railway for a long time. When he retired from job, he built a house near his family house and stayed there. Varghese learned some of his Valyappen’s treatment methods and prescribed it to patients for free. He was a person with a good sense of humor and eloquence. He married Kottayam Chackalayil Kunjamma. They had a son named Thomas and daughters, Kunjumol, Susheela and Susan. Kunjamma died on 14^th September 1985. After the death of his wife, Varghese became ill for a long time and passed away on 16^th March 1987 at the age of 80. Both were cremated at Ericadu St. Mary’s Jacobite church.
