Varghese Thomas’s 4th son, John worked as a Scientific officer in the Meteorological department at Chennai for 3½ decades. After retirement, he returned back and settled at Pazherickal Puthenpura house. His wife is Annamma, who is the daughter of Thevalakkara Thyvilayil Kochukoshi Vaidyan. They have a son Thomas (Binu) & daughters Ramani, Elsy and Pushpa. John passed away on 7th July 2021 at the age of 99 & Annamma passed away on 22nd August 2001 at the age of 72. Both were buried at St. Mary’s Jacobite church, Ericadu.
