K.T.Pothen (Pothachen, 7)

Varghese Thomas’s youngest son, Pothen after obtaining B.Sc. & B.Ed degrees served as the Mathematics teacher of Pampady M.G.M. high school, for a long time. He was an accomplished teacher. He also served as the trustee of St. Mary’s Jacobite church, Ericadu. He was a person who genuinely loved and helped others. He married Sosamma, who was the daughter of Ranni Kurudamannil Thomas. They lived in the Kuzhiyadithara family house. They have two sons, Thomas and George. Pothen passed away on 17^th October 1989 at the age of 59 and Sosamma passed away on 25th December 2024 at the age of 93. Both were cremated at St. Mary’s Jacobite church, Ericadu.
