K.P.Chacko Sr (Pappachen, 8)

Pothan Pothan’s second son Chacko was born on the 4^th February 1931. An intermediate pass out, Chacko was an employee in various plantation companies, for a long time. He worked in estates at Wayanad and Elappara. He was a good farmer and an expert hunter. His skill in fishing is worth mentioning. He did commendable service as the Trustee and Sunday School Headmaster of Ericadu Moria Marthoma church, for a long time. He married Leelamma, daughter of late Mathew of Thiruvarppu Thekkekuttu family. She showed diligence in spiritual matters and was the Secretary of the Sevika Sangam. They have sons, Philip, Mathew & daughter Saramma. Chacko died on 5^th October 2005 at the age of 74 and was cremated at Ericadu Moria Marthoma church. Leelamma stays in the house of Pappalaparampil homestead.
