Joseph’s wife is Areeparampu Pallet Sosamma (Susy). Sosamma was a teacher in the Kerala Education department & retired as the Headmistress of Thottackad Govt. High school. They have a son named Philip (Jubin) and a daughter named Jubitha. Sosamma passed away on 19th January 2018 due to illness and was cremated at St.Mary’s Jacobite church, Ericadu.
