Mariamma George (Kunjumariamma)

C.G. George married Mallappally Thuruthikkattu Maruthikkunnel late K.N. Ninan’s daughter, Mariamma (Kunjumariamma). She did her schooling at Nicholson Syrian Girls High school, Thiruvalla and later studied at St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam. After completing her higher studies in Social Work from Madras (now Chennai), she worked here as Grama Sevika for over a decade. They lived near Thottackad hospital. They have sons, Anil, Sunil, Jain and a daughter Asha. Mariamma passed away on 29^th May 2004 and was buried at St. Mary’s Bethlehem Orthodox church, Thottackad.
