M.M. Mathai’s eldest daughter, Rebecca’s husband is Jerry Popli, who is the son of Ernakulam Pappaly Joseph. Jerry worked as the Deputy Divisional Manager of Syndicate Bank in Mumbai and also as a Senior Manager at various banks in Kuwait and Muscat. They are now settled in U.S.A. They have two daughters, Aparna and Sneha.
