Kurian Iype’s wife was Aleyamma who was the daughter of Thiruvalla Mepral Poothiyottu Ummachen. They had sons named Kurian, Oommen, Mathai and Iype & daughters named Ammal and Ammini. Aleyamma died on 10^th June 1951 and was cremated at Puthuppally Horeb Marthoma church.
