K.V. Iype married Vakathanam Pathiyapallil Kuriachen’s daughter Aleyamma. They lived in the Kallarackal family house. They had sons Varghese, Kurian, John, Jacob, Philipose, Isan & a daughter Kunjumol. Aleyamma passed away on 16th April 2006 and was buried at St. Mary’s Jacobite church, Ericadu.
