K.V. Iype married Vakathanam Pathiyapallil Kuriachen’s daughter Aleyamma. They lived in the Kallarackal family house. They had sons, Varghese, Kurian, John, Jacob, Philippose, Isan and a daughter Kunjumol. Aleyamma died on 16th April 2006 and was cremated at Ericadu St. Mary’s Jacobite church.
