V.P. Punnen’s wife was Aleyamma, the daughter of Nedungadapalliyil Kuttippuzha Avarachen. They had sons, Theophilos, Aby, Joshi, and daughters, Susamma, Alice, Elsy and Susheela. Aleyamma died on 4th May 2008 and was cremated at Ericadu Moria Marthoma church.
