C.V.George (Georgekutty, 7)

Philippose Varghese’s 2nd son, George engaged in business and public affairs from his early age itself. He was the owner of Pulianmala Aanakuthi estate & Nilambur Vailassery estate. He was a good rubber planter and can be described as the best farmer in this family. George lived in the Nilambur Chaliyar village and played a decisive role in the development of that village and also in the growth of the villagers. He married Sosamma (Kunjamma) of Vazhoor Puthenpurayil family. Sosamma stayed in the family house and worked earnestly to bring up their children both educationally and spiritually. Moreover she took special interest in spiritual matters. They have sons George, Mathew, Philip, Oommen & daughters Achamma (Amritavalli), Annamma (Valsamma) and Aleyamma (Alice). Georgekutty passed away on 21^st April 1993 at the age of 82 and Sosamma passed on 4^th May 2002. Both were buried at St. Mary’s Bethlehem Orthodox church, Thottackad.
