Pothan’s only daughter, Deenamma, has earned post-graduation and M.Phil. She worked as Professor and was also the Head of Department at Thiruvalla Marthoma college. She was also president of the Thiruvalla Y.W.C.A. Deenamma’s husband, Kottayam Paadatharayil Kuriakose’s son Zachariah, was a professor at St. Albert’s college, Ernakulam. Now retired and living at Thiruvalla, they have two daughters, Dr. Kamalin and Dr. Amala.
