Dr.Baby Iype (Babychen, 8)

Iype’s youngest son, Baby was, born on the 25^th October 1941. After obtaining an M.B.B.S. degree, he earned advanced degrees in Paediatrics and Anaesthesiology from Ireland. He had practiced in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong and Ireland. After returning to Kerala, he served in Mandiram hospital and some other hospitals. He was the Medical Superintendent of Mandiram hospital for some period. Presently, he is an anesthesiologist in Mandiram hospital. He is a member of social organizations like the Rotary club. He married Rebecca (Shanthi), daughter of Kottayam Uppoottil Issac. Rebecca worked as a teacher & Librarian at the Belfast Public Library in Ireland and at the British International school in Hong Kong. For some time, she was a teacher at Kottayam Pallikoodam (Corpus Christy) school. She served as the Principal of Mar Baselios Public school, Kottayam. They live in Kalathilpady and have sons, Suman and Isaac.
