Dr.M.I.Iype (Pappachen, 9)

Kurian Iype’s 4th son, Iype after obtaining a B.A.(Honours) & M.A. graduation from the University of Madras joined the Linkraj College in Belgaum, Karnataka as a teacher. He later retired as Principal of that college. While working as a College professor, he was an N.C.C. officer and attained the rank of Major. In recognition of his comprehensive contributions to N.C.C. for a quarter of century, he received the honorary life time Major rank from the President of India in 1988. He attained an M.D. in Alternative Medicine and is specialized in Hypnotherapy and provides free treatment to mental patients. He married Thalassery Aythaan Mattankot family member, Radha. Radha was a professor in R.L. Institute, Belgaum. They have a daughter named Kavitha. They are permanent residents of Belgaum, Karnataka. Iype passed away on 20^th July 2012 at the age of 74 and was buried there.
