Dr.P.K.John (Pappachen, 8)

The elder son of Kawmos, John was born on the 22^nd July 1938. After completing his college education, he obtained an M.B.B.S. degree from Thiruvananthapuram Medical college. He served in the same medical college for some period. Later, he went to America for further studies and obtained an M.D. & F.R.C.P. fellowship from Canada. He practiced in psychiatry and settled in Toronto, Canada. He adopted Ham Radio as a hobby and became a world-known radio ham. His wife was Adoor Karimbannur Dr. Elizabeth (Jolly). Jolly is also working as a doctor in Canada. They have sons, Suresh and Sunil. Dr. John died in Toronto on 17^th September 2006 at the age of 68. He was cremated there. His wife, Dr. Elizabeth and her children are living in Canada. Suresh, a graduate, is a good actor.
