Thankamma is married to Kottayam Chengalam Moolayil Chandy’s son George (Raju). He was a finance officer at St. Stephen’s hospital, New Delhi. Later he became the administrative officer of a branch of St. Stephen’s hospital. After retirement, they have returned to Kerala and settled at Chengalam. They have a son named Alex and a daughter named Ann.
