John Varghese (Johnykutty, 7)

Iype Varghese’s 5th son, John Varghese earned Diploma in wireless and served in the Military engineering service. During his service, he worked in the states of Maharashthra, Gujarat and Karnataka. After retiring from military, he worked in Kuwait for some time. Later he returned to India & settled in Bangalore. He was an entrepreneur and started a few companies. Among them, H.P.S. Technologies was a company which concentrated in laser printer toner re-filling. It became a huge success. Now it has branches in Bengaluru, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram & Kottayam. He held the position of Managing Director of H.P.S. Technologies from its start. His wife is Idinjillam Mundapallil Leelamma. They have a son named Santhosh and a daughter named Siby. John Varghese passed away on 18th August 2023 at the age of 86 and was cremated at St Mary’s Jacobite Syriac Orthodox Cathedral, Queens Road, Bengaluru.
