K.A.Jacob (Pappachen, 8)

Jacob Abraham’s eldest son, K.A. Jacob after his primary education, entered banking business with his father. After the banking business stopped due to financial reasons, he worked in the cinema sector and ran his own cinema theatres at Chengannur and Iraviperoor. He also ran a flour mill and furniture hiring service in Puthuppally kavala. He bought a land there, built a building and continued the business. Niranam Maniparambil Eapen Varghese’s daughter, Saramma (Kunjamma) is his wife. They lived in the Karuvallil family house. They had sons Aby, Reji and a daughter named Sicily (Thankamani). Jacob passed away on 1^st May 2012 at the age of 86 and Saramma passed away on 8th May 2018 at the age of 88. Both were cremated at Ericadu St. Mary’s Jacobite church.
