Pothan’s eldest son, Cyriac was in the Govt. service as Jail warden in Thiruvananthapuram. Now he resides at Karithinickal after retirement. Puthuppally Kavanadiyil Sosamma is his wife. They have daughters, Betty, Diana and Sherin.
