K.V.Kurian (Kunjappan, 7)

Varghese Varghese’s only son, Kurian was, born in 1900. After obtaining B.A. & B.L. graduation, he practiced as an advocate at the Kottayam bar, for many years. He was the first advocate from the family. He had to stop court practice, to take care of the family’s agricultural matters. Elizabeth (Thankamma), a member of Nattakom Puthenpurackal family, was his wife. They stayed at the Pallathra family house. They had sons, George, Cherian and Senan and a daughter Moly. Kurian died on 6^th October 1973 at the age of 73. Elizabeth passed away on 19^th December 1990. Both were cremated at Ericadu St. Mary’s Jacobite church.
