After the early death of his 1st wife, Ipe Varghese married Annamma (Kunjannamma), the daughter of Ancheri Ilakkattukadupil Joseph Kathanar. They had sons Varghese, Joseph, John, Abraham, Rajan & daughters Thankamma and Saramma. Kunjannamma passed away on 31st August 1983 at the age of 74 and was buried at St. Mary’s Jacobite church, Ericadu.
