Kurian Iype (Kunjappan, 8)

Iype Kurian’s eldest son, Kurian was born in 1898. After college education, he engaged in farming. His life was a great struggle against adversities. Although he was not in a condition to help others financially, he had a willingness to give his mind & soul to their needs. That was why he was popular among ordinary people and among his relatives. Although the properties he got from his father were limited, he did not alienate any of them. With his own hard work, he performed the family duties by enduring many hardships. These characteristics of his were quite exemplary. His wife was Aleyamma, who is the daughter of Thiruvalla Mepral Poothiyottu Ummachen. They had sons Kurian, Oommen, Mathai and Iype & daughters Ammal and Ammini. They lived with his mother in the family. Kurian Iype passed away in 1966 at the age of 68 and Aleyamma passed away on 10^th June 1951. Both were buried at Horeb Marthoma church, Puthuppally.
