M.I.Cherian (Joy, 9)

Iype’s second son, M.I. Cherian obtained Engineering degree in Metallurgy from Banaras University and worked as an Engineer in Alind. He went to Japan for higher studies in metallurgy. Later, he served as the General Manager at Alind, Hyderabad, Works Manager at South India Wirerope, Idathala, Deputy General Manager at Premier Cable, Angamally and Senior General Manager of the Konaseema Power plant in Andhra Pradesh. His wife is Susan, who is the daughter of Kottayam Chackalayil Thomas. Susan is a B.Sc. graduate. They have daughters, Kavitha and Nisha. They are now living in Ernakulam.
