M.M.Chandy (Valyakoch, 8)

Iype Mathai’s fourth son, Chandy was born on the 20^th August 1913. After completing his primary education, he focused in agriculture. He married Sosamma, daughter of Pampady Kothala Podippara Varghese. They moved to Perunkavunkal and stayed there. They had sons, Varghese and Andrews & daughters, Ramani, Molykutty (Mol) and Omana. Among them, Varghese died at a young age. Chandy died on 22^nd March 1998 at the age of 85. Sosamma passed away on 26^th August 2007. Both were cremated at Puthuppally Nilackal Orthodox church.
