Iype Kurian (Jr)’s only son Kurian Iype (Jr) stayed at Aikkarettu homestead. It is his descendants that belong to the Mannaparambil branch. Kurian Iype married Mariamma, who was the daughter of Kanjirathinmmoottil Manjathuruthel Mathaichan. They had two sons named Kurian and Mathai & a daughter named Shoshappi. When Mathai was one and a half years old, his mother Mariamma died.
