Elcy’s husband is Thazhathangadi Kochettu George’s son Mathew (Sha). He was an officer at Food Corporation of India. Now they have returned to Kerala & settled at Chengalam. Mathew passed away on 9th September 2021 at the age of 73 and was cremated at Puthenpally Orthodox church, Kottayam. They have two sons, Givin & Philip and a daughter Merin.
