Sosamma

K.P. Pothan Sr married Sosamma of the Velloor Panthiruparayil family. Along with her husband, Sosamma also, actively participated in spiritual activities. She was the president of Sevika Sangham of Ericadu Marthoma church. As her husband died at the age of 44, Sosamma had to take the family burden. Sosamma displayed extraordinary skill in imparting good education to her children and running the family affairs, neatly and orderly. After the death of her husband, Sosamma built a house at Karithinickal homestead and stayed there. They had sons, Pothan, John, Varghese and Chacko & a daughter Deenamma. Sosamma died on 5^th August 2011 and was cremated at Ericadu Moria Marthoma church.
