Pothen’s eldest son, Thomas after college education entered into business field. He owns a cable factory and two tile showrooms. His wife is Lissy, daughter of late Abraham of the Mooledom Pulliyil family. They have two sons, Tittu and Abu & a daughter, Minna. Abu is an engineering graduate. Now he is an engineer in a Chennai-based company. Minna is doing her graduation. They live near the family house.
