V.P.Punnen (Kutty, 7)

Philippose Pothan’s 2nd son, Punnen was the physical training teacher of Kumarakom and Puthuppally Govt. schools. He was skilled in drawing and painting. His wife, Aleyamma is the daughter of Nedungadapalliyil Kuttippuzha Avarachen. They had sons, Theophilos, Aby, Joshy and daughters, Susamma, Alice, Elsy and Susheela. V.P. Punnen passed away on 8^th October 1996 at the age of 79 and Aleyamma passed away on 4^th May 2008 at the age of 87. Both were cremated at Moria Marthoma church, Ericadu.
