Abraham Pothan (Pothachen, 9)

Abraham’s third son, Pothan was born on the 26^th October 1961. After passing Pre-degree, Pothan completed his I.I.T. studies at Don Bosco Technical Institute, Delhi. He had worked in Delhi and Abudhabi for some time. Showing a keen interest in agriculture matters, Pothan runs a rubber nursery called ‘Motherland’, on an extensive scale. He is presently serving as Puthuppally Gramapanchayath member. He is actively working in social and community fields. He married Sosamma (Beena), daughter of Kattanam Kannankkara Puthenveettil Kuriakose. An M.Sc. Nursing graduate, Sosamma, worked as a nursing tutor. They live in the Ericadu Pappalaparambil family house. They have a son named Eldo & daughters, Elizabeth and Mariam.
