George Kurian’s eldest son Ashok was born on the 16th October 1964. He worked for a long time, as the Senior Commercial Superintendent of Indian Airlines in its Kochi office. Now he is in charge of the Thiruvalla office. He married Chengannur Vayalippurayathu Alexander’s daughter Mariamma (Bindu). Bindu, who is an M.Sc. Nursing graduate, was a teacher in the nursing college of Kangazha M.G.D.M. hospital. Now she is working as an Assistant Professor in Govt. Nursing college, Kottayam. They have daughters, Reshma and Roshni. Reshma is a school student.
