George Kurian’s eldest son, Ashok after completing his graduation, worked as the Senior Commercial Superintendent of Air India in Kochi. Later he moved to its Thiruvalla office and retired from there. He married Chengannur Vayalippurayathu Alexander’s daughter Mariamma (Bindu). She is an M.Sc. (Nursing) graduate and worked as a Lecturer in the nursing college of Kangazha M.G.D.M. hospital. Currently she is working as an Assistant Professor in Govt. Nursing college, Kottayam. They have two daughters, Reshma & Roshni.
