George Kurian (Raju, 8)

Kurian’s elder son, George was born in 1929. After completing his college education, he worked for a long time in Indian Airlines as a Charge hand in Kolkata. He was a person who showed his talent and skill in music and painting. A family man, George got on well with everyone. He married Vakathanam Karuchirayil Abrahams’s daughter Mariamma (Ammukutty). They have a son, Ashok and daughters, Asha and Meena. George died while in service, on 16^th April 1985 at the age of 56. He was cremated at Ericadu St. Mary’s Jacobite church.
