Varghese Iype (6)

The 4th son of Pothan Varghese, Varghese Iype stayed at Pampady to look after the family homestead there. The famous Chethimattom bull market is in Iype’s homestead. He married Rahelamma, daughter of Cheriamadathil Yakob Kathanar. They had sons, Jacob, George, Kurian & daughters Aleyamma (Kunjupenn), Kunjamma, Saramma, Annakutty, Mariamma and Eethamma. Varghese Iype passed away on 19^th September 1948 at the age of 78 and Rahelamma passed away on 30^th November 1955 at the age of 83.
