K.K.Abraham (Avarachen, 8)

Kaithayil Pothan Kuruvilla’s 3rd son, K.K. Abraham and Kaithayil Varghese Pothan’s 2nd son, Pothan Pothan Sr moved to the Pappalaparambil homestead. It is their descendants that belong to the Pappalaparambil Sub-branch. K.K. Abraham completed intermediate studies and also studied surveying. He served as a Surveyor. He settled in the family house in order to support the family. Later he concentrated in agriculture and also provided free services to the locals in survey related matters. He participated in spiritual activities with great interest. At Ericadu St. Mary’s Jacobite church, he participated in the holy services along with Kallarackal Achan. He served as the Trustee and Sunday School Headmaster of Ericadu St. Mary’s Jacobite church. He also served as the Treasurer of Puthenpurackal Kudumbayogam for a long time. He married Kuzhimattom Madathiparambil Aleyamma, a member of the ancient Kuttanchira family of Puthuppally. They have sons Varghese, John, Pothen & daughters Sosamma (Susy), Elsy and Eleena (Elamma). Abraham passed away on 6^th July 2002 at the age of 84 and Aleyamma passed away on 26^th May 1993. Both were buried at St. Mary’s Jacobite church, Ericadu.
